Today we woke up and decided to take a walk since it was warm and sunny. We walked on the boardwalk in Aci Trezza and kept going to the next town, Aci Castello. Aci Castello has a castle on a large cliff over the water which we see every day, but had never gone inside. Once we got inside the castle we realized what an amazing view it had. We stopped at a cafe next to the castle for a coffee and enjoyed the view. Sometimes we forget what a beautiful place we really live in. It is pretty amazing to be able to have a coffee while staring at a castle.

Aci Trezza |
Aci Trezza is known for 'Isole Ciclope' where sets of large rocks sit out in the water. They are from the Greek myth of Homer's Odyssey, where the Cyclops Polyphemus threw them at Ulysses. |
