Well after 29 hours of traveling with a cat, we made it safely to Sicily. After missing our flight from Rome to Catania, we learned there is no customs in Italy! We had 1 hour in Rome to get our next flight so we rushed to get our luggage to go through customs...our luggage never came. So we found out our luggage went straight to Catania and we missed our flight. The next flight out of Rome was 5 1/2 hours later! So our trrip was delayed :( Mr. Stripes was stuck in his little carrier without a litter box, so we took him out of his carrier for the 5 1/2 hours in Rome. He sat next to us the entire time.
